it's soo sweet!

I went to visit my friend's mom yesterday. She came to singapore to do check-up, only to find out that there was a tumor on her nerves. The doctor suggested surgery but she was so scared because apparently if there was even a slight mistake done, she might not be able to walk anymore.

Meanwhile, her husband was always by her side. He was being very supportive, strong, and loving. When she wanted to puke, her husband was very busy tring to find a vomit bag. When she said she was having a headache, he persuaded her to take some panadols. Seeing her very gloomy, he talked to her sweetly.

When there was something wrong with her and the nurse had to check her, the nurse asked all of us to leave but my friend's mom was very scared. She begged the nurse to let her husband stay. The nurse said no, but her husband insisted to stay. So both of them was scoulded by the nurse, but heck, he was with her during the check-up.

Don't you find this very sweet? They are both old but the one person that she finds very comforting is none other than her husband. Not her children, but her husband.

It is definitely not a fairy tale whereby they all live happily ever after. But i'm thinking in this kind of crazy world, this is the closest it can get to fairy tale.
